Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok, the holistic health-focused urban retreat, is supporting the change of the “Alternative State Quarantine” requirements for international travelers arriving in Thailand with a choice of attractive new packages and additional check-ups, to ensure the long-term health of every guest.
Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok and Bangkok Hospital “Alternative State Quarantine” Packages in Thailand
Effective April 2021, the Royal Thai Government updated the mandatory quarantine period for inbound visitors. As a result, Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok will now offer 7-, 10- or 14-day “Health Watch” packages, all of which comprise five-star accommodation in spacious rooms and suites with private balconies, three daily meals, a VIP airport transfer, and world-class medical services courtesy of Bangkok Hospital, including 24-hour nurse supervision, COVID-19 tests, immune system enhancing supplements, and tele-medical consultations.
The 7-day package is only valid for visitors who have received full COVID-19 vaccinations, while the 10-day option is applicable for regular travelers, and the 14-day package is required for visitors arriving from “high-risk” countries (as per the government’s latest list, to be announced every two weeks).
Now, under a new initiative to care for travelers after their ASQ period ends, Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok and Bangkok Hospital are proud to offer additional medical check-ups. Having enjoyed a relaxing quarantine stay, guests can re-enter society safe in the knowledge that they are fully fit and healthy. “ASQ Basic” and “ASQ Executive” services can be arranged to provide complete peace-of-mind.
ASQ Basic is a thorough medical check-up that covers a wide range of areas, such as cardio, liver, kidney, blood, and bone & joint health. ASQ customers will be able to book this service for just THB 2,800 net per person – 73% off the normal rate! For an even more comprehensive check-up, the ASQ Executive option includes all of the aforementioned elements, plus enhanced cardio tests, hormone checks and tumor markers. This option is now available for the exclusive price of THB 9,900 net per person, an amazing 58% discount from the usual fee!
To book these additional check-ups, ASQ guests can call the BWC contact centre on 02 826 9999 during their quarantine stay or within 30 days of their check-out date.
“The decision to change the quarantine period for visitors to Thailand is an important move – another step towards the resumption of normal life and travel in the Kingdom. We are delighted to support this with our new 7-, 10- and 14-day ASQ packages, which provide Thai residents with a relaxing and rewarding way to return home. With these additional medical check-ups, every guest can rest assured that they remain fit and healthy, even after they check out,” said Bruno Huber, General Manager, Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok.
An urban sanctuary in the heart of the city, Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok is nestled within 1.2 acres of tropical gardens, with shady century-old trees, soothing waterfalls and koi carp ponds. During their ASQ stay, all visitors can stay in shape with in-room yoga mats and sleep therapy speakers, and optional in-room fitness equipment. To boost mental stimulation, over 7,000 newspaper and magazine titles are available via the PressReader app, and Wi-Fi is free-of-charge throughout the entire resort.
Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok provides three daily meals that can be selected from regularly rotating menus featuring over 150 dishes, including plenty of vegan and vegetarian choices. Plus, scoops of Mövenpick ice cream and other tasty treats can be ordered from Rim Klong Café. Guests who book the Wellness Sleep Suite, Presidential Suite or Royal Suite will also have a microwave and premium coffee machine with capsules included in their accommodation.
Guests can even satisfy their need for retail therapy with “Paragon Chat & Shop @ ASQ”, where shoppers can search for products and make purchases online from Siam Paragon, the major lifestyle mall, via the LINE or Wechat application and have their shopping delivered the same day!
Upon check-out, a Health Watch membership card will entitle the holder to a raft of benefits, including special rates, 25% discounts on F&B and future stays and three 50% discount vouchers at the resort’s restaurants.
Part of the award-winning Bangkok Dusit Medical Services network, BDMS Wellness Clinic is a world-class healthcare facility in the heart of the Thai capital.
