Time seems to fly by without us realizing. As I was writing this, I realized that my recent stay at 8 Kia Peng Suites was my first staycation of the year!

8 Kia Peng Suites @ Changkat Kia Peng is relatively new as they have only started operating in mid November 2021. Standing tall and proud as the king on a hill, 8 Kia Peng Suites is a strategically located cozy hideout in The Golden Triangle, Kuala Lumpur. The secluded address concealed guests from the city’s hustle-bustle for a peaceful stay, but easily accessible to vibrant shopping and entertainment scene in KL.

8 Kia Peng Suites Hotel Review
As soon as I parked my car in their elevated parking, I headed to the lobby to check-in. I was greeted by their friendly staff who then asked me to fill in my particulars and promptly explained to me which tower my room is located at as there are 2 towers here.
I stayed in their 1+1 Suite since there’s just 2 of us anyway. This suite would also be perfect for couples who have 1 child as there’s an additional bedroom with a single bed. Since this place is new, everything are in prime condition, neat and clean. Gotta make sure that hygiene is tip-top as it is exceptionally crucial during this time.
I opened the curtain to find an amazing sight to behold – our majestic Petronas Twin Towers or as Malaysians usually call it, the KLCC. It exudes a different sense of beauty during different time of the day.
The master bedroom is very spacious and comes with a king-sized bed. It also has a wide functional space for work or study, in case you still need to work on something during your staycation.
The warm people at 8 Kia Peng Suites also prepared us a welcome note, together with some delicious cookies! How thoughtful of them… These are the tiny gestures that made me feel like home.
Speaking about home, the suite is fully furnished with almost everything you need at home. It’s probably more well-equipped than my own home, to be honest. With a fully-equipped kitchenette, you don’t even need to step out from your suite if you feel like staying in during the whole stay.

Apart from the public dining area, the modern contemporary Sky Lounge also offers a private space for guests who need extra privacy.
