Daisuke Salon De Coiffure

It was my first visit to Daisuke Salon De Coiffure for a hair makeover. As soon as I entered, I was welcomed by the friendly staffs there. I was seated at a private area which is available for their female Muslim customers and also customers who prefer more privacy. I love the minimalistic interior of the salon and it gives me a very cosy feeling like home!

I had consultation session with Daisuke-san before starting anything so he’ll know what I want and also I want to know what he thinks is best for me. We both agreed to color my hair. Before that, oil was applied onto my scalp to protect it and prevent inflamed/sensitive scalp from burning sensation when in contact with hair dye. Normally, hair salon will make this an option but at Daisuke Salon, it is included in the hair dye package for the sake of their customers’ hair. They did not wash my hair before dyeing because leaving the natural oil on my scalp is better for protection against the hair dye.

It took 2 hours to dye my hair to beige brown because the process was divided into 3 section: dye the center hair first then only followed by hair ends and lastly, hair roots. There’s science behind why the hair roots were dyed last. It is because the area near the hair roots is warmer so it absorbs the color fast.

After hair dyeing process, my scalp was pampered with CO2 (soda water) treatment that is currently very popular in Japan’s beauty industry. This treatment will stimulate your blood circulation and improve metabolism. It is well known for being a natural way to treat skin and hair without using chemical. Soda water provides deep cleansing for scalp to remove chemical residue and natural substances like sweat and sebum that were built up over time. This treatment is most suitable for those who have oily scalp, have smelly scalp and those who have less volume.

The process was very comfortable like being massaged by a warm device. It feels like my stress has been relieved instantly! A true pampering session indeed! They already washed my hair before doing CO2 treatment but when they showed me the residue that came off, I was shocked! I also tried the PLARMIA Clear Spa Foam, a hair maintenance product that gives you CO2 treatment at home. It gives me a different sensation as it is super cooling!! Syok-ness!!! The effect expands my blood vessels, causing the blood flow to increase 3-5 times, thus improving metabolism too. Its mildly acidic nature is able to suppress bacteria that is causing the blockage of hair growth so if you have hair loss problem, this is a must-try. It is naturally formulated using black soybean essence that is able to strengthen anti-oxidizing power and female hormones, thus is safe for prolonged usage.

Daisuke-san has also helped me to trim my hair nicely so I can become a pretty bride next month. Can see from his movements that he’s very skilled. Before moving to Malaysia, he has worked in Japan and London. Guess what’s the reason he moved to Malaysia? Cos he likes summer! Overall, I’m very satisfied with the outcome and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. I hope I know how to blow dry my hair into sexy curls like Daisuke-san did!
