Originated from Petaling Street since 1949, I couldn’t believe I’ve not tried this before. A friend also recommended it after my visit there. Well, I’d say Teng Chai porridge is good choice. If you prefer your porridge to have lots of side dishes, this is the porridge for you!

But if you’re there for the first time, you need to try their signature dish: Raw Fish Porridge. Yes, the fish is raw when they serve it to you. Then, you put/dip it into your porridge (time depends on how cooked you want the fish to be). As I’ve just recovered from food poisoning, I prefer to put it around 10 minutes. I guess it’ll be pretty well done :p

    oh my god raw fish!! then put inside porridge and use the porridge heat to make it eatable? 😛

    i've tried the 1 at uptown but i don't really like it. to me is so-so only
