During MCO, I know a lot of girls yearned for some self-pampering time like facial treatment, salon visit, massage and manicure session because we’re all under immense pressure regardless directly or indirectly. Trust me, I’m not any different either. Now that we’ve eased into RMCO (Recovery Movement Control Order), businesses can finally reopen with proper SOP. YAYYY!!
Maniqure Sri Petaling (Kuala Lumpur)
My first stop was to beautify and pamper my nails at Maniqure, Sri Petaling. As soon as I opened the door and saw the interior of this nail salon, I immediately fell in love! It was so pretty and cozy in their pastel green theme. There’s also some beautiful colorful flowers that will lift up anyone’s mood immediately!
To be honest, I waited til July before I finally go out for non-essential services because I’m the cautious type. If you’re not ready yet, don’t worry, nobody is going to judge you because we’re talking about the safety of our lives here!
Since safety is the ultimate priority now, I feel relieved to see that Maniqure has did a lot safety precautions to protect their customers and prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Safety precautions at Maniqure Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur
Scanning of QR code and hand sanitizer
Following the SOP, all customers are required to scan QR code for easy contact tracing and sanitize their hands before entering.
Use of face mask
Customers and manicurists are also required to wear face mask during the whole session. For pedicure session, the staff will also wear a face shield. I think this is important because it doesn’t only protect the safety of customer, but also the safety of the staff. Kudos to Maniqure, Sri Petaling for doing this.
Transparent partition barrier
Aside from sanitizing the air, they also made sure to sanitize the tables thoroughly since this is the surface we’re going to touch the most during the whole session. To protect us even further, there’s also a transparent partition barrier in between the customer and manicurist. I feel so safe!
As for the gel manicure designs at Maniqure Sri Petaling, they totally blew me away with so many prettily themed designs! According to my friendly manicurist, Mei Yee, they have new themes almost every 2 months. Their latest themes are Marble Stone Nails and Picasso Nails. I did consider Picasso Nails because it looks so minimalistic yet so beautiful. It suits artsy people.
After choosing for an eternity, I finally chose Marble Nails theme. This theme was inspired by Hilton Kota Kinabalu’s marble interior design. Being originated from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, you can also find some unique gel manicure designs in their Sabah Nails theme like Kaamatan nails and some places of interest inspired nail designs! What I love about them aside from the design is affordability! You can get your nails done from as low as RM 104 (bubble tea nails). Click on the link for more info on their manicure price and designs.
That being said, I’ll be back to Maniqure Sri Petaling soon for more pretty nail designs. I really appreciate Mei Yee’s effort as she has been patiently drawing my nails to create the marble pattern for 3 hours! I highly recommend her for your future booking!
