Last month, Robinsons has officially launched its highly anticipated flagship store – Robinsons Kuala Lumpur. Located at Shoppes at Four Seasons Place, the flagship store sits on an impressive retail space of 200,000 sq. ft. over four floors. With the opening of Robinsons Kuala Lumpur, the departmental store promises to bring shopping to a whole new level.

From the trendiest fashion pieces, the most coveted lifestyle products, the latest items for the home, to playthings and necessities for the little ones, Robinsons provides an experience that goes beyond ordinary shopping. Aside from these, Robinsons brought it up a notch by providing personal styling service at the Personal Shopper Suites, porter services, and gourmet dining with Starbucks Reserve and Croisserie Artisan Bakery.

The official launch kicked off with a special VIP Night. In this by-invitation-only event, we were treated with specially curated shopping and retail experiences, exclusive gifts, special promotions, fun activities, giveaways and more reflecting the unique Robinsons touch.

Among the VVIPs who attended were Paul Delaoutre, President – Retail of Al-Futtaim Group; Christophe Cann, Group Chief Executive Officer – Asia of Al-Futtaim Group; Ashley Tang, General Manager and Director of Robinsons Malaysia; YBhg. Decked in a stunning attire by Alexander Wang that is available exclusively in Robinsons, and Lavish Alice, songstress Dayang Nurfaizah made a special appearance and awed us with her powerful voice! I’m amazed by all the fun pop-up spaces of curated wonders in Robinsons Kuala Lumpur. Among these include:

• Robinsons’ #SecretlyWonderful Speakeasy Pop-Up Bar set up exclusively for the event where Ryot Jones, Malaysia’s up-and-coming jazz-funk band, wow-ed the crowd with their energetic live show. On the deck were Twinkies, the DJ Duo, who fused the bar with energetic tunes and rhythm throughout the evening.

Celebrations aside, let’s not forget about the unfortunate ones. Guests are able to contribute to Mercy Malaysia’s Palu Relief Fund to help communities affected by the earthquake and tsunami in Palu, Sulawesi when they purchase a #CuratedCollection Mystery Box for only RM100. Each box contains surprises worth RM200 – RM2,000.
