Taiwan Excellence, representing the pinnacle of Taiwanese innovation and manufacturing, is participating in ARCHIDEX 2024 with the theme “Greener Together,” focusing on building-related green solutions for a better future. James Chang, Director of the Economic Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia, stated during the opening press conference that Malaysia’s strong manufacturing industry significantly contributes to the country’s GDP and export figures. Many factories are urgently seeking to improve their energy efficiency, and he is confident that cooperation between Taiwanese and Malaysian industry players can create a more resilient green building ecosystem in Malaysia.

Featured products include the PRISM ePaper from E INK Holdings, which offers dynamic color-changing options for building walls; the SAUBERAIR Flat Picture Frame Air Purifier, which combines an advanced purification system with beautiful art; AMA TECH’s mobile tank fan, which significantly improves indoor air circulation; and WATERSON’s robust 3-in-1 stainless steel closer hinges, tested for millions of operating cycles.

Simply Green, Pure Innovation

This year, the International Trade Administration and TAITRA have designed an innovative pavilion that evokes the imagery of Taiwan as a land of mountains and forests. Embracing the concepts of Recycle, Reuse, and Reduce, the organizers have creatively used recyclable materials such as aluminum extrusions combined with mesh canvas in the booth design, greatly reducing waste without sacrificing aesthetics. The PRISM ePaper, also incorporated into the design, provides a dynamic display for logos and other visual assets, enhancing the visual appeal of the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion.
