Oh My Car!!!

Oh my car!!! USJ is flooded today after a heavy rain! Luckily I went to save my car before anything bad happened.

The little Kenari is my car... If the water got a little higher, water will flow into my car when I open the door!
Check out the blue car!

See how deep the water is?

McDonald's Chicken Nugget Burger (Breakfast)

Yo! Good morning! What's the most important thing to start a good day? BREAKFAST of course!

I recently spotted that McDonald's has a new item in their breakfast menu so I decided to try it out.
To my amazement, it tastes really good!!! *mouth watering* Please forgive me if the photo I took looked a bit gross k? But the taste is really nice, you'll gonna change whatever you order previously to Chicken Nuggets in the future. Before I discover this, my favorite is Egg McMuffin! It costs only RM 4.50 in Weekday Breakfast Special menu (without hash brown) and RM 7.95 (normal set with hash brown).

Chicken Muffin (RM 4.50)

Egg McMuffin (RM 4.50)

Food Review: Honkee Porridge Restaurant @ Taipan USJ

Honkee Porridge
Originated from Petaling Street since 1949, I couldn't believe I've not tried this before. A friend also recommended it after my visit there. Well, I'd say Teng Chai porridge is good choice. If you prefer your porridge to have lots of side dishes, this is the porridge for you!
Teng Chai Porridge (RM 6.50)
But if you're there for the first time, you need to try their signature dish: Raw Fish Porridge. Yes, the fish is raw when they serve it to you. Then, you put/dip it into your porridge (time depends on how cooked you want the fish to be). As I've just recovered from food poisoning, I prefer to put it around 10 minutes. I guess it'll be pretty well done :p
Set Menu: Raw Fish Porridge + Barley + Mini You Tiao (RM 8.90)
Yummy porridge!

Johnny English Reborn

Sorry guys, I'm too busy recently for a full review so I'm just gonna share the summary and some photos of this movie k? I really recommend this movie to readers who are seeking for a non stop laughing session XD

Rowan Atkinson returns to the role of the accidental secret agent who doesn’t know fear or danger in the comedy spy-thriller Johnny English Reborn. In his latest adventure, the most unlikely intelligence officer in Her Majesty’s Secret Service must stop a group of international assassins before they eliminate a world leader and cause global chaos.

In the years since MI7’s top spy vanished off the grid, he has been honing his unique skills in a remote region of Asia. But when his agency superiors learn of an attempt against the Chinese premier’s life, they must hunt down the highly unorthodox agent. Now that the world needs him once again, Johnny English is back in action.

With one shot at redemption, he must employ the latest in hi-tech gadgets to unravel a web of conspiracy that runs throughout the KGB, CIA and even MI-7. With mere days until a heads of state conference, one man must use every trick in his playbook to protect us all. For Johnny English, disaster may be an option, but failure never is.

A good movie doesn't need to be too hard sell.

Chinese Kungfu helps him a lot in his mission!

This is the part my bf laughed hardest!! He looked like shrinking!

Action packed scene

LOL what a funny expession

Ewwww gross!

Looking For Penang Homestays?

Gone are the days of making calls to book room and end up with expensive phone bills.

Now with just a few clicks, you can book the rooms online! Simple and hassle free! Psst... besides, homestay is a lot cheaper compared to hotel and not to forget, hotel rooms are normally fully booked during holiday season! You don't want to sleep in your car right?

Thanks to iBilik (formerly CariBilik), finally you can book rooms from homestays, budget hotels, guest houses, hostels, and serviced apartments. I actually get to know iBilik from cabs' advertisement, so eye catching!

Here's a simple tutorial on how to do it (let's say you want to find Penang homestays)

  1. Register an account if don't have one.

  2. Click on the room that you prefer to rent.

  3. Read the details and see the photos to determine whether the environment and location suits you.

  4. If you're interested, select the Available Date and click Book Now.

  5. Confirm all your details and finally click on the Confirm button.

  6. The owner of the homestay will need to confirm the availability before you can proceed to bank in the deposit. Don't worry, it only take 3-20 hours! :)

Isn't it as simple as ABC? I'm sure a primary school kid also know how to do it!

Besides Malaysia, they also have rooms in Singapore and Indonesia! What a good news to me! Now I can opt for homestays when I go to Singapore or Indonesia so that I can save more on accommodation and spend on shopping instead! I'm sure many girls will agree with me! :p

Now that I know the services on this site, I'm actually very tempted to rent out the rooms in my vacant house until it's time for me to move in. I could really use some extra money right now cos I will be jobless in 1.5 months (yes, I have resigned for good)!!

Food Review: Zhen Wei Vegetarian Restaurant (真味素食坊) @ Connaught

The last time I've been here was a year ago. After my office was moved to USJ, I don't have the chance to come anymore until recently during Hari Raya holidays. They've renovated the interior, it looks really fresh and bright now! And everytime I come here, I will surely order Prawns because they're the yummiest!

Scam at Bukit Bintang Area

The incident happened like this: A friend of mine and I was eating in a restaurant. Suddenly, there was a woman with her whole family (husband, children and a granny) came to ask my friend to help her change some notes. So I didn't bother cos I thought that woman doesn't have small change and asked my friend to change for her.

Then I heard my friend said "Still short 5 cents!". That woman said she doesn't have 5 cents and went away. I finally knew my friend was being conned. That woman was giving her loose money to exchange for an RM 5 note. This is definitely not because she doesn't have small change! So I thought "Hmph, I'm going to record a video of them and let everyone know about it in my blog!".

Then, I woke up. I was dreaming!!!!!

Chill la... I really wanted to share ma

Of Popular BookFest @ KLCC and Patrick Teoh

I don't plan to go to this year's bookfest initially cos I still haven't finish the books I bought last year. The main reason is because I bought Chinese books and I'm a banana T.T I can read most of it but I wanted to learn all! Since Patrick Teoh is going, I decided to go also lah... Further more, I still need 2 swipes of RM 50 on my HSBC credit card to get an RM 50 duit raya. Bought 3 books only, not like many people I saw who bought few plastic bags of books LOL!

Patrick Teoh is funny. He mentioned that his book was placed at the animal section in a bookstore. Maybe nobody understands what is the meaning of 'Teohlogy'.

Patrick Teoh talking bout Teohlogy. Aiks isn't the shirt he's wearing the same as the one on board? :p

Bought 3 books @ RM 107.75! Cheap!!!

Food Review: DIET Cafe @ Cheras Business Centre

First things first. DIET doesn't stand for diet, it actually means "Do I Eat Today". It's a casual and comfy Aussie concept cafe. If you have Foursquare, remember to check in everytime you're here cos you can get a free signature smoothie on your third dine in. Besides, you can get a bread and butter pudding for free if you check in with 2 other friends!

So special! Love it!

The Coffee Bar

Wow RTM covering this restaurant!

"Old-skool" Carbonara (RM 20)
Classic style carbonara served with beef bacon and mushroom.
This tastes good but a little pricey. Carbonara should be cheaper than Fish and Chips!

"Do I Eat Today" fish and chips (RM 19)
Breaded fish fillet served with crispy wedges and honey mustard salad.

I personally think that the fish tastes a bit rough. I still like Madam Kwan's most.

Signature breakfast set is "Do I Eat Today?" set that has 2 organic eggs, bread, baked beans, breakfast chicken sausages, grilled asparagus, a glass of chilled fruit juice and a cup of black coffee or black tea at RM 18 (Wow that's a lot of food to consume, don't you think so?)
