Movie Review: Sucker Punch

"Close Your Eyes. Open Your Mind. You Will Be Unprepared."
It's true. At first, I really don't know what should I expect from this movie so I'm rather unprepared. I just hope it won't suck or I'll gonna punch someone hahahaha

It appeared that it's a very interesting movie. Imagination is the key thing so you need to be able to differentiate when is reality and when is in her imagination. Until now, I'm still wondering how BabyDoll's 'dance' looks like. You'll know what I mean if you watch it. Please don't expect logical stuff to happen cos it's IMAGINATION! Get it? A normal human would have died in the first minute of the fight.

I love the meaning of the whole story. It's actually YOU who are in control of your own life. It is YOU who limits yourself and it is YOU who can set yourself free.

Donate fund from Malaysia to Japanese Red Cross Society

Everyone knows about this tsunami that happened on the fateful 11th March 2011 (coincidently my birthday T.T)

And I was thinking, why not donate some money to help those who need it? Although I'm not donating a lot (only 2000 yen which is equivalent to USD 25/RM 81), but I believe that if everyone helps, it will become a big amount. Ah Boy also donated 2000 yen.

With so many options to choose like Paypal, UNICEF, Zynga, etc. I chose to DIRECTLY donate to Japanese Red Cross Society via Google. Here's a tutorial on how to do it:

  1. Go to Google Crisis Respond for Japan Earthquake 2011
  2. Enter your credit card details.

  3. Proceed and sign in to your Google account again although you've already signed in.

  4. Check and make sure all details are correct before clicking 'Place Your Order Now'.

  5. Voila! You will be redirected to a summary page confirming your donation. Certain banks will give you a call to verify whether you've made payment via Google to prevent fraud.
Simple isn't it? Just 5 steps and you'll be able to lend a hand to needy people :)

Starbucks Complimentary Coffee Tasting @ Sunway Pyramid (New Wing)

In conjunction with Starbuck's 40th Anniversary yesterday, they've held a coffee tasting session in 17 stores. It's scheduled at 8pm but when we arrived at 8.10pm, the room is still empty. This is Malaysian culture LOL... they only started at 8.40pm.

The staff started by introducing the new products and logo (yea they have a new logo now) and then, food tasting begins!!! The main character is Starbucks Tribute Blend of course which combines Colombia Narino, Papua New Guinea, Aged Sumatra and Sun-Dried Ethiopia coffee. What an art! Then, we tasted Cocoa Cappuccino which I think is superrrr delicious! I'm gonna order this next time.

Moving on to pastries, we had Cake Pops, cupcakes and brownies! Super full weh.... If I knew, I wouldn't eat my dinner first before going =P

Waiting patiently for it to start

Food Review: BellyGood @ Sunway (Non Halal)

I went here with my boss and colleagues for our annual dinner *grins*. Yea it's not super expensive and classy but I guess this is the best thing he can afford (in order to secure my salary and bonus).

The boss (I guess he is :p) came to us and suggested us their bestsellers which are Baby Back Ribs, Grilled Pork Belly, Cashew Chocolate Brownies with Vanilla Ice Cream and Imported Peach and Apple Juice. So we basically ordered all of them lol. Initially we also wanted to order the famous Baked Portabello Mushroom with Bacon and Cheese but the mushroom is out of stock..... awww ....super disappointed...

I order Baby Back Ribs but kinda regret cos it's too hard. Every area of it feel like bone, making it very difficult to cut. So I was struggling the whole night =(

The Grilled Pork Belly is super nice though. Indescribable. You need to try it to understand what I mean.

We also ordered Trio Platter which consists of Grilled Pork Belly, Pork Rib and Pork Chorizo Sausage. This is the perfect selection for people who are greedy hahahaha! Oh btw, most main course comes with coleslaw and mashed potato. The mashed potato is superb!

The Cashew Chocolate Brownies with Vanilla Ice Cream was very nice too but a little overpriced. Imported Peach and Apple Juice is nice too! The taste of peach is more than apple though.

Despite some bad reviews I found in blogosphere relating to their service, I think it's pretty good. Perhaps they've improved after seeing those unfavorable comments =)

Here we are!
